Ecommerce development & measurement

Stores get built. Tracking gets bolted on. We do both as one job.

Most stores ship without a tracking plan, and most accounts run on unchecked numbers. We build the Shopify or WooCommerce store and the measurement together, so spend decisions hold up in your P&L.

Measurement-led · audit before management

How we work

Three jobs. One team. No handoff.

Store, tracking and reporting built as one project, so nothing gets lost between the person who built it and the person managing it.

E-commerce Development

Shopify and WooCommerce theme and checkout builds with the tracking wired in from day one.

  • Shopify development
  • Woocommerce development
  • Sales funnel setup & automation

Conversion Tracking

We audit what's counted, cut the duplicates, and rebuild tracking that matches your orders.

  • Meta Pixel & CAPI setup
  • Server-side tagging (GTM & GA4)
  • TikTok & multi-platform tracking

Reporting & Compliance

Reporting that agrees with your order table, plus the consent setup that keeps it that way.

  • Looker Studio dashboards
  • Google Consent Mode v2
  • Reconciled against order data

Coco & Sebas Landing page & CRO

A/B tested landing pages built against the traffic already being paid for.

Client reviews

Hear it straight from the people we've worked with

A few clients on what changed once someone actually opened the tracking and showed them what was really happening.

How we design

Conversion Rate Optimization comes first, not last

Every layout choice is judged against how people actually move through the page, not a template's default.

  • One primary action per screen
  • Trust signals at the decision point
  • Checkout friction removed, not hidden
  • Speed treated as a conversion lever
Our process

We test before we redesign, and redesign before we spend on ads

Ad spend is the most expensive way to find out a page doesn't convert. We find that out for free, first.

Track real behaviour

Session recordings and A/B tests first, so decisions are based on what visitors actually do.

Fix what the data points to

Product pages, checkout, wherever the research shows visitors dropping off — changed first, not last.

Redesign the store

Once enough changes are tested and proven, the store gets rebuilt around what the data showed.

Then ads & conversion tracking

Spend goes toward a store that already converts, with tracking built to prove it — not to waste on pages that don't.

What clients say

Don't just take our word for it

Quote copy is drafted from the work itself. Send each to the client, let them put it in their own words, then delete the draft flag.

We were told the ads were working while our accountant said otherwise. They were the first to open the tracking and show us why both things were true.

Sarah Mitchell Founder · Online Pilates Classes

I had no idea how much of my reporting was double counted until someone actually opened the account and counted it by hand. Now the number on the dashboard is a number I can actually plan against, and I don't second-guess it before a board call anymore.

Rachel Kim Owner · Lesley Logan

A tag manager migration from years ago had never been finished. Every signup had been counting twice, and nobody had noticed.

Brian Foster Marketing Lead · Doze Host

Refunds were never reaching the ad platform, so it kept buying the customers most likely to return things. Feeding returns back changed which products we advertise at all.

Jessica Nguyen Ecommerce Manager · Imported Makeover

They talked us out of a piece of work we had already agreed to pay for, because they did not think it would earn its fee yet. That is not something an agency usually volunteers. It bought more trust than any result on a slide, and it's the reason we came back for the next project without asking for a discount.

Marcus Bennett Founder · Next Evolution of You

Clear scope, clear finish line, no drifting retainer that quietly grows every quarter. The handover documentation was good enough that our own team could pick it up and keep running the account without a single follow-up call, which is not what I expected going in.

Olivia Turner Director · As the Crows Fly

The measurement rebuild came before a single campaign changed. It felt slow at the time. In hindsight it is the only reason the decisions since then have been worth anything.

David Ramirez Head of Marketing · Online Pilates Classes

You speak to the person doing the work, not an account manager relaying questions to someone else. No coming back three days later with half an answer, or finding out the person on the call has never actually opened the account they're reporting on.

Karen Whitfield Founder · Doze Host

Every agency before this one wanted to raise the budget. This one spent the first month cutting waste and explaining exactly what was being removed and why.

Trevor Sanchez Performance Lead · Imported Makeover
Who we are

A small team that would rather fix the instrumentation than argue about attribution models.

Hyperlink Digital is a paid search and measurement studio. We take on a limited number of accounts at a time, because the work that makes the difference — auditing tracking, restructuring campaigns, reading query data properly — does not scale by adding logins.

Questions

Common questions

How is this different from a normal marketing agency?

We audit before we manage. Every engagement starts by checking whether the numbers you're already looking at are true, not by promising a bigger one.

Do you only work with Shopify and WooCommerce stores?

Those are where most of our development work happens, but conversion tracking and Google Ads management aren't platform-specific — we've worked with custom builds too.

What happens after the audit?

You get a written report of what's tracked, what's double-counted, and what we'd fix first. You're free to take it elsewhere — most people ask us to do the work.

Do we keep access to our own accounts?

Yes. Accounts, tags and documentation stay in your name from day one. No lock-in.

How long does an engagement typically run?

Builds usually run 3–6 weeks. Tracking and ads management run on rolling terms, with no fixed contract length.

Do you take on every client who asks?

No. We take a limited number of accounts at a time, and we'll say so if we're not the right fit rather than take the work anyway.
